Thirty years ago....

I visited England for the first time. The day after we arrived in Staffordshire we were taken to Stone. At that time the High Street was still a dual carriageway with lots of traffic, Huge lorries roaring through and very narrow footpaths. It was a bit of a shock to a jet lagged person. Now it is a pedestrian mall which is much more attractive.

As per stunning flower displays.

They certainly weren’t the norm back then.

  1. The flower towers are gorgeous, and the pedestrian mall would make for relaxing stroll.
