More large and vintage…..

 

Joanne brought her sampler quilt which she made, I think, about 25 tears ago for me to quilt. It had been in storage for a long time. It required a beauty Spa and some remedial stitching before it could go on the frame. Here it is already to go:

All over Baptist fans seemed a perfect fit for the middle of this quilt.

The 12” wide border was the place to go to town with some lush feathers and micro straight line fill.

Joanne chose a rich green backing for the quilt. The back looks lovely.

This quilt had the total treatment, wash, repair, quilting, binding the full beauty spa. Here it is in it’s full glory:

  6. I know I've got old UFOs too, but hopefully not 25 years old! I don't dare check the dates. This is a beautiful quilt, and just love the quilting, especially the border. Great work.
