Sweet Peas

It’s time for a catch up. We’ve had, I think, three Sweet Pea gatherings this year. The ladies are as busy as ever with their different crafty pursuits.

Debbie has been creating a Foxy population explosion! Look at this troop.

Rochelle brought a pattern home from Canada and charm square pack to make this crib quilt:

Being the clever pixie that she is Rochelle looked at the outers of the circles

….and figured out that there was a potential to make another quilt:

As a group we have joined the Bloom Quilt sew along this year.

Sorry about the poor image – best I could grab off the net.

We have made our first round of blocks, Block 1 and two:

It’s so interesting to see our different fabric and colour combinations.Margaret (bottom row) is sewing hers onto a wool background.Rochelle, top right is using peel and stick, the rest of us are using the interfacing method.

Margaret has just finished quilting this Ginormous Big-as-Texas quilt. We had to take it outside to get a photo:

Rochelle made these very cute retro caravan placemats as a retirement present for a work colleague.

So all is well with Sweet Peas.

Thanks for popping by

  6. Don't know about Sweet Peas I think you should be called Busy Bees! Can't believe how many foxes are in a huddle on that chair (still haven't made mine) and I see Julie may be about to make one, before we know it there will be foxes popping up all over blogland!
