A gathering of Quilters

On Wednesday we had a group of quilters from Tokoroa came and spend the morning with us. We had morning tea:

And then proceeded to show and tell.Carol made this delightful wall hanging for her sister. The fabrics are genuine vintage dress fabric from her Grandmother's and Mother’s clothing.

June showed this cleverly crafted bag made by her by fellow group members:

She also showed us these Christmas table centres that she made:

I’m sorry I cant remember the name of the quilter who made this. I think her fabric selection is perfect.

After Morning tea and show and tell the ladies moved on into the Sunroom and played with Ozecraft dyes. Peggy has written about that on her blog, pop over for a look.
