Cot quilt top finished. It sure is a bright and cheery.

Dead headed a few flowers. I so pleased to find some double petunias this year. I remember they were all the craze a while ago but then seemed to disappear.

Popped this quilt, that was saved from an Opshop by Peggy onto the frame. It has minimal quilting already, done with monofilament thread. I plan to put pebbles in those border curves and some soft feathery swirls around the hearts.

…and to finish the day yummy Blackberry and Apple crumble.

Happy Days

Wow, what a great pick up from the op-shop. The cot quilt came up lovely, they certainly make some lovely panels.
ReplyDeleteYou are lucky to have petunias blooming. Flower types certainly do come and go.
Enjoy that yummy plate of sweets, noticed the lovely serviette.
Happy days.

Linda, the cot quilt is fabulous!!!! The heart quilt was a terrific find in the Op Shop.
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are lovely ... we just barely missed a major snowstorm. :)
Mmmmmmmmm...blackberry and apple crumble...
ReplyDeleteSeriously if I had any blackberries in the house I'd be making that now...I don't care what the time is!
It is fun to see all the wonderful and creative things happening around your home! The cot quilt is very cute - the colors and scene are perfect for a child.
