Poor Cici she’s knocked out!
Don’t you just love it that the staff at some large stores don’t know how to look after plants? I scored another nice perennial half price. I’m hoping to have this planted before the heat sets in tomorrow.
Our friends Jack and Marie came to visit today. Just back from their travels, they gave us this lovely gift from Hong Kong.
So cute.
Bye for now

Linda, send Cici here. It is 2 degrees F. with several inches of snow on the ground, and for some reason our kittens just love it!
ReplyDeleteOh, and send Kaiser too. : )
Cici would be comfortable inside at my house, too, as it is COLD outside. Fur coats here are all the rage.
ReplyDeleteAw poor little Cici - it's not the weather for fur coats....
ReplyDeleteIt's the hottest few days and nights we've had in Auckland for yonks.
Yesterday I was desperate to get into my craft room but I just couldn't muster up the energy - so I had a nap instead - I justified it as a grandmother's prerogative!!!
Your quilting in your previous post, on Peggy's applique cushion is amazing - I'm wondering what machine you're using Linda? I can't imagine ever being able to do anything like that on my very basic Janome.
Would love some feedback...
Shane
I really feel for our animals when it's blisteringly hot. I;d hate to be wearing a fur coat in the middle of summer!
