I need all the help I can get…

…..and Kaiser the cat is willing:

Such a treasure.

I have finished quilting Circling around NZ but I wont share pictures until I have the binding on.

Today I worked on Peggy’s applique cushion. It was nice to work on something so bright and flowery after the Kiwiana quilt.

I love the way the flowers popped:

Looking good…..

Thanks for popping by

  1. Linda, your quilting desgns are truly amazing, and yes, the flowers pop out so well. Cheers, Jean.

  2. Love how you quilted this. Really makes the flowers come to life.

  3. Peggy's flowers definitely come to life with the quilted background. Great job!

  4. Your quilting really did make those flowers "pop"! It's beautiful!! Cute picture of your kitty. Looks like Kaiser is definitely helping. LOL!

  5. Hello
I've just found your lovely blog via Totally tutorials.
I googled "How to make Christmas Crackers" - I was so thrilled when a kiwi blog popped up - that's a first for me!

However I'm much more interested in Patchwork and Quilting so that's why I'm joining your blog.
A couple of years ago I bought a pattern and some fabrics from Patchwork Passion a shop quite near where I live in Auckland.
Things have got in the way of me starting on this quilting journey but I'm determined to have a go this year - better late than ever! I probably need to do a course to get me started - but being retired pennies are precious so I'm hoping I can learn as I go by gleaning ideas and tips from helpful bloggers.
If you can point me in the direction of any blogs that will take an interest and help learners I would be most appreciative!!

I've had a good look around your blog and I'm now your newest follower.
Do pop over and visit me when you get a minute!

Wishing you JOY and happiness in 2013.

  6. Amazing quilting Linda. Love it!

I love hearing from you - write now!
